Wildlife spotting
Set in a mountain valley not too far from the sea this is a fabulous location to be immersed in nature and to partake in cycling, walking, swimming etc. In this peaceful location guests can enjoy birdwatching, identifying butterflies, looking out for the variety of animal life* in the valley and with the unpolluted night sky offering a wealth of star gazing.
*Eagles, foxes, deer, wild boar, red squirrels, pine martens, badgers, and sometimes even wolves!
Foraging
For those that enjoy foraging there are many edible delights to be picked from our garden and the hedges along the roads & paths, depending on the season: hazelnuts, cherries, almonds, figs, crab apples, plums, mulberries, blackberries, sloes, persimmon, strawberry tree,
elderflower etc. But please always check first what you are picking and that you aren’t trespassing on local gardens / farms!
Walking
There are marked paths in and around Bajardo and Berzi, including one to Apricale that starts directly from outside the property.
We also have some maps of the local area and regional parks.
There is a new local walking guide, for walks from Bajardo, which can be purchased for 5 euros in local shops
Organised walks: TBA - please check our local guide folder on arrival as guided walks may be only advertised nearer the season.
